Welcoming Nathan Urquhart to Coatue’s Leadership Team

We’re officially welcoming Nathan Urquhart as Coatue’s first President starting today. In this newly created role, Nathan will be involved in key management responsibilities, taking on broad operational leadership at the firm, overseeing investor relations and fundraising efforts, and contributing to the firm’s strategic growth.

Nathan is joining Coatue from Carlyle, where he was Partner and Global Head of Investor Relations and a member of Carlyle’s Leadership and Operating Committees. Prior to joining Carlyle, Nathan was at Oz Management for 11 years, where he was most recently Executive Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Investor Relations. Prior to Oz, he spent four years at UBS in the Private Fund Group, raising capital for several buyouts, credit and infrastructure funds. Nathan began his career at J.P. Morgan in corporate finance.

Nathan's hire is an important step forward as we continue to deepen our bench of leaders and invest in the infrastructure to broaden our scale and reach. His track-record as a business builder will further propel our ambitions and growth as a lifecycle investment platform focused on core technology-driven strategies.
